There were 40 attendees who enjoyed free information during the 1 hour seminar on producing written content for the web whether you have your own web site or not.

Main points included:

• Planning carefully
• Using a site plan
• People SCAN web pages
• Keep it SHORT – 50% or less compared with paper
• Use bullets & BOLD or coloured text to highlight points
• Avoid bad grammar
• Use photos, graphs, diagrams to break up the page.
• Proof read & spell check
• Keep the site up to date

 

Attendees helped the “Hope and Homes” Children charity as Cravenplan donates money for every person who attends.

Also, a lucky winner received £50 in the prize draw just for replying to the seminar email invitation.
