This is our 5 hours a month option, which is the amount of hours we would recommend for most of our clients to start on, depending on the competitiveness of their market. Here is what we can do for you and what you can expect:
Key word research
We will work with you to find the best phrases to promote in the search engines, so that your customers can find you. This will always done in conjunction with you the site owner, as you know best what you want from the site. We use software to ensure that enough people are looking for the phrases that you choose. This way you can be sure that the most effective phrases are being used.
On-page optimisation
We will ensure the keywords are used correctly on the pages of your site to get the most from them. This is something that is under constant review as the search engines will change what they consider important over time.
Link building
We will build links back to your site, staying within the Latent Symantec Indexing (LSI) structure used by Google to determine that the links are of good quality. Using this structure should ensure the links are counted as relevant by the search engines in the future as well as today. Link building is an on-going process and can be incredibly effective if done correctly.

What results can I expect?
This depends on how old your website is. If it is a new site you can use the following as a guide on what to expect:
Month 1:
Google and the other search engines visit the site and index it in their search engine results. Your website starts to be found in the search engines for terms - normally for the company name.
Months 2 - 4:
The search engines visit regularly and your whole site is crawled and in the results. If you look for product names, the company name and some of your key phrases your website is found.
Months 5 - 7:
Your website is found for more and more terms. You can expect to be on the first page for many of them.
Months 8 +:
The search terms are expanded upon, and those that are bringing in the best results are pushed harder so that they appear at the top of the search results. We then look to maintain these positions whilst also adding new key phrases.
SEO is an on-going process and if you attempt to rush it you may get marked by the search engines as a 'spammer' and dropped from the listings.
If your site has been around for a while, the process can be sped up by about a month.
